Time windows

Pick the route length that matches your day.

A time-based walking planner works best when it turns a vague window into a concrete distance. DailyWander does not need a destination first. It starts from where you are and generates loop route options around the distance you choose.

Route duration is approximate. Your pace, crossings, terrain, weather, and local conditions can all change the final time, so leave margin when you need to be back exactly on time.

  • 20 minutes: a short reset when you want to get outside quickly.
  • 30 minutes: a practical daily walk or lunch-break loop.
  • 45 minutes: enough room for a longer neighborhood route.
  • 60 minutes: a fuller walk when you have more space in the day.
  • Any window: adjust distance down when the route needs to stay predictable.

Why not destination-first maps?

Most everyday walks start with available time, not a place to go.

Traditional map apps are useful when you know the destination. For a daily walk, the better question is often simpler: what loop can I walk from here before my next thing starts?

Lunch break

Generate a nearby loop without searching for a point of interest.

After dinner

Start at home and come back near the same place.

New city

Get a practical route without already knowing the neighborhood.
