Steps to follow
- 01
Choose whether to connect Health
Open the relevant DailyWander settings or follow the Health permission prompt. You can allow only the categories you want.
- 02
Record and finish the walk
A Health workout is created from a completed activity, not merely from viewing or generating a route.
- 03
Review the Health app
Open Apple Health or Fitness after finishing to confirm the workout and permitted metrics appear.
- 04
Change access at any time
Use iPhone Settings or the Health app to review and change DailyWander's permissions.
Data DailyWander may use
Depending on the permissions you grant, activity views can include metrics such as steps, active energy, exercise minutes, and heart-rate summaries. A completed workout can include timing, walking distance, and recorded route data when available and permitted.
DailyWander does not need unrestricted Health access to generate routes. Route planning, recording, History, and streak features can still work without Health permission.
Health data remains under iOS control
Apple Health permissions are controlled by iOS. DailyWander cannot read or write a Health category you have not allowed, and you can revoke access later.
